DMV seeks applications for Huntersville plate agency

The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking applicants to operate a license plate agency in Huntersville.

The agency will be at 12101 Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, in a new building that also will house the DMV’s driver license office and the N.C. Highway Patrol.

The building is scheduled to open in a few months, and state officials say it typically takes about four months to establish a new license plate agency.

Applicants can download an application form online or can call 919-861-3332.
