Sixteen South Mecklenburg High students got scholarships from the German Language and Culture Foundation to travel to Germany in April.

The group will conduct a full exchange for two weeks with Gottlieb-Daimler-Realschule in Schorndorf, Baden Wurttemberg, the birthplace of Gottlieb Daimler (of Daimler Benz AG). This is the third straight year that South Mecklenburg High has had an exchange with the German school.
