Police search for Sugar Pops suspect

Mooresville police are searching for the man who robbed the Sugar Pops candy store at 248 N. Main St. on Thursday.

Police aren’t releasing details of what the man might have taken from the store but said he was armed.

Police described the man as black, in his late 20s or early 30s and about 5-feet-10-inches tall and 210 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue or black jacket, blue jeans, a dark blue or black ball cap with a white emblem on the front, tan leather work-type boots and a purple scarf around his neck and face.
