Virginia (12-4, 3-0) at No. 16 Duke (12-4, 1-2)
7 p.m., Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham (ESPN)
You have to go back a few seasons – to 2006-07 – to find the last time the Blue Devils had this bad a start to their ACC season. Same for the Cavaliers, who last opened with three straight league wins during the 2009-10, current coach Tony Bennett’s first season with the team. A Duke loss would be its worst four-game conference start since 1995-96, when the Blue Devils opened 0-4. It also would give Virginia its first 4-0 start since the 1994-95 season. One factor to consider – the Blue Devils are 9-0 this season and have won 25 straight at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Bill Kiser
Johnson C. Smith (11-4, 3-2) at Virginia State (8-7, 1-4)
7:30 p.m., Daniel Gymnasium, Ettrick, Va.
Both teams head into Monday’s CIAA game on the rebound – the Golden Bulls snapped a two-game losing streak by beating Elizabeth City State on the road. The Trojans ended a six-game skid with a home win against Livingstone. J.C. Smith is the league’s top shooting team (49.2 percent). Virginia State is last in points scored (64.2 per game). B.K.
