Drop donations off at the school.Lincoln Charter Talon Challenge: On Dec. 20, Lincoln Charter and Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy competed in the fifth annual Talon Challenge fundraiser. All proceeds from the event benefitted the V Foundation, an organization dedicated to cancer research, prevention and eradication. During the Talon Challenge, students from both schools ran a basketball used for games between the two schools between campuses – a distance of about 70 miles. The event also included varsity basketball competitions, a blood drive and T-shirt sales. Almost $7,500 dollars was raised for the V Foundation, 71 pints of blood were donated nearly 600 T-shirts were sold. In the end, Lincoln Charter brought home the trophy.
