Woman charged in Mooresville Walgreens robbery and attempted robbery

Mooresville police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old woman in Sunday’s attempted armed robbery of the Walgreens pharmacy at Bluefield Road and N.C. 150 and the armed robbery of the same Walgreens on Dec. 11.

Bridgett Rachelle Crabtree was in the Iredell County Jail on Tuesday under a $250,000 secure bond pending a court appearance.

Police charged Crabtree with attempted armed robbery in Sunday’s incident and with armed robbery and trafficking of opium in the Dec. 11 holdup.

Police Capt. Joseph Cooke couldn’t be immediately reached Tuesday morning as to the type of weapon the woman used and details of her arrest.
