Police seek suspect in southeast Charlotte robbery

Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a southeast Charlotte store at gunpoint Wednesday.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, which took place about 10:20 a.m. at the Gamestop, in the 1800 block of Galleria Boulevard. That is in the Galleria shopping area, on Sardis Road North at Monroe Road.

Police say a man entered the store and robbed it at gunpoint before running off.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5 feet 11 and of average build. At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a black jacket, black hat and sunglasses.
