Iredell deputies seek suspect in bad check case

Authorities in Iredell County are asking the public’s help in identifying a man they say passed counterfeit checks.

The bad checks were passed Saturday at a Food Lion store on Turnersburg Highway near Statesville, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives have released a surveillance photo of the suspect. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3180 or Iredell-Statesville Crime Stoppers at 704-662-1340.
