Matchup to Watch

Gerald Henderson vs. Victor Oladipo: Henderson is coming off an awful game in Philadelphia (2-of-14 from the field). Oladipo is one of the best rookies in this class.

Observations

• Bobcats backup center Bismack Biyombo, the seventh pick in the 2011 draft, didn’t play at all Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. This was his third “Did Not Play, Coach’s Decision” this season..

• Magic point guard Jameer Nelson has spent all 10 of his NBA seasons with the Magic. That is the eighth-longest tenure with one team among active NBA players. But he seems a prime candidate to be moved at the trade deadline.

Tap-ins

• Oladipo and Bobcats rookie Cody Zeller were teammates at Indiana.

• For the second straight game the Bobcats will go against a coach ( Jacque Vaughn) who came up under San Antonio’s Gregg Popovich.

Did you know?

The Bobcats still haven’t won a game this season within the Southeast Division. They’re 0-6 vs. Miami, Atlanta, Washington and Orlando.
