Charlotte’s indoor track and field teams came away with seven top-10 finishes during their first meet of 2014, the UAB Blazer Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., on Jan. 11.Anthony Bynum and Kerrick Williams had the best finishes for the 49ers. Bynum was fifth in the men’s 200-meter dash (21.73 seconds), and Williams was fifth in the men’s weight throw (51 feet, 3.5 inches). LeRoy Rouse was eighth in the 60-meter dash (6.95) and John Osborne ninth in the 200 meters (21.98).The 49ers’ women had three top-10 finishes, led by T’Sheila Mungo’s seventh place in the 400-meter dash (56.41). Juanita Leto was eighth in the 60-meter hurdles and Lauren Gulley tied for 10th in the high jump (5-4 1/2). Bill Kiser
