January can be a cold, unforgiving month. The holidays are over, people are starting to talk about taxes and even retail therapy can’t cure your depression because we are in the awkward in-between seasons stage. Don’t get all depressed yet, though. There’s still a way to cure your winter blues – some fun, new beauty products to spice up your cosmetic bag! There are tons of new products coming out this year, some of which I’m very excited about. It was hard to narrow down but here are six beauty products that I’m dying to try in 2014.

Naked 3 Palette

I thought the love for my Naked 2 palette knew no bounds until I saw the Naked 3. Um, holy rose gold. The colors in this palette are so on trend yet so versatile for everyday. The packaging makes it the perfect palette for traveling, which is a huge plus. I got this palette for Christmas but I still haven’t had a chance to really play around with it. This is sure to be a staple all year long.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick

I don’t know if it’s the fact that “butter” is in the name but I cannot wait to try these lipsticks. I went to pick one up at Ulta this week and they were completely sold out. The color offerings are all beautiful and word on the street is that they are super moisturizing.

Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Polish

The ‘90s are back! I’m so excited to try these new scented nail polishes from Revlon. I already love Revlon nail polish and the colors offered in this line are gorgeous. The polishes are supposed to give off a light scent once they are dry. I’m dying to try China Flower and Bordeaux.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

This isn’t a new product for 2014 but it’s new for me. Tons of beauty bloggers rave about this stuff and I just have to try it out myself. This spray can be used to add body and texture to your hair and I’ve heard it’s great to use for updos. Once I try it out, I’ll report back!

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush

Blush is my cannot-live-without beauty product. When I saw this Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush blush, I knew I had to try it. It’s got a little shimmer in it and comes in three different colors. Also, might I add that the heart packaging is too adorable.

Herbal Essences Naked Products

When I saw the commercial for Herbal Essence’s Naked line I immediately wanted to try it. The line boasts products with zero heavy residue, dyes and parabens, which can weigh down and be harsh on your hair. I’m excited to see a drugstore brand do this and I’d really love to see if it improves the health of my hair.
