    Black smoke billowed from 206 Lander St. as trucks from the Charlotte Fire Department rolled up to the scene Saturday January 25, 2014. It took 27 firefighters about 47 minutes to bring the blaze under control. No injuries were reported.

No injuries were reported in a house fire on Lander Street in Charlotte Saturday morning.

The Charlotte Fire Department responded at 10:58 a.m. and found heavy smoke and fire showing at the vacant residence.

The street was closed during the emergency operations. Twenty-seven personnel fought the blaze for 46 minutes before bringing it under control, authorities said.
