DeLamielleure is a participant in the CONTACT Study Encephalopathy (CSTE) at Boston University School of Medicine. DeLamielleure has agreed to donate his brain and spinal cord upon his death to the Center for the Study of Traumatic. DeLamielleure was recently diagnosed with CTE, the brain injury that is affecting so many former football players.
