Bryant Graeber shared many smiles Friday as family and friends came to the Harris YMCA to honor his service there. On Friday, Harris YMCA greeter Bryant Graeber welcomed Bill Spiers, his one millionth guest as he entered the doors of the Y. He was born with a disease called MPS1. The disease is rare (1 in 100,000 kids) and causes dysfunction in every organ. Bryant has been a part of a research group to receive enzyme therapy every week. Bryant has worked and volunteered at the YMCA for 10 year. Everyone at the Harris YMCA knows him. His positive attitude and courage are inspiring to thousands of people who come to the Y every day. Patrick Cannon, Charlotte mayor, declared Friday January 31, 2014 as Bryant Graeber Day.
