The Tigers need a win over the Seminoles to break out of their two-game losing streak and remain in the upper half of the ACC standings ... Despite the recent skid, Clemson still boasts one of the nations toughest defenses (No. 2 in points allowed at 56.1 per game). Charlotte managed to beat Conference USA foe Florida Atlantic on Thursday despite shooting 33.3 percent The 49ers overcame that by making 80 percent of their free throws and committing just 11 turnovers The 49ers are looking for guard Denzel Ingram (who has missed his last 10 3-pointers) and center Mike Thorne (averaging 3.0 rebounds over last four games) to end slumps The Panthers lost at Marshall 80-68 Thursday, with senior forward Tymell Murphy scoring 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting Murphy averages 17.0 points and 8.0 rebounds.
