Undercover drug bust nets 31 pounds of marijuana

Investigators seized 31 pounds of marijuana and $119,000 in cash as part of a two-county drug investigation that resulted in three arrests.

David Timothy Harris, 47; Jesus Roberto Teran Valdivia, 41; and Tomas Ramirez, 30, all face felony drug trafficking charges, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. The three suspects were in Union County jail late Monday.

Investigators have not said how long they were conducting the undercover investigation. The arrests happened on Thursday. Afterward, investigators searched a home on Crowders Road in Monroe and several undisclosed locations in Mecklenburg County.
