Jennifer Phelps brings more than 20 years of performing arts experience to her new Turning Pointe Music & Dance Center in Cornelius. As artistic director, Phelps, who has taught ballet, dance, and voice, and appeared in regional and off-Broadway theater productions, offers classes for all ages and abilities, including voice, piano, ballet, tap, jazz, as well as dance-based fitness classes. For serious students, there’s the pre-professional program, which is by invitation or audition only, and designed for those looking to excel at live performances.
