February book selection:Tea Cakes for Tosh by Kelly Starling Lyons and E.B. Lewis

Recommended ages: 5 - 8

Tea Cakes for Tosh is a delightful story that highlights the special bond between Tosh and his Grandma Honey. It also tackles dementia and family history.

When Grandma Honey forgets an ingredient while making the famous tea cakes she’s baked for years, Tosh steps in and reminds her what it is. And after listening to Grandma Honey repeat the story of how and where her famous tea cakes originated, Tosh surprises her with a batch of his own. As an added bonus, a tea cake recipe is included at the end of the book.
