It’s not called The VUE for nothin’. The 50th floor of this uptown Charlotte high rise now features the elegant and aptly named SKY Lounge where, on a clear day, you can set your sights on just about anything. The 3,000-square-foot all glass, sleek space features a poker room, kitchen, bar, flat screen televisions, and even a baby grand piano. But while it’s already been used for numerous events, this is a private space that can only be rented by residents so you’ll have to hope for an invitation to scope out the skyline from these seats. www.vuecharlotte.com
