Warmer weather brings out Charlotteans

Rhythm and blues music floated across Trade and Tryon streets like a warm breeze on Wednesday. Ron Morrow, 59, says he comes up to the Square to sing classics such as “My Girl” and “How Sweet It Is to Be Loved by You” whenever the weather is nice. Passers-by dance to Morrow’s soulful singing and sometimes drop in a donation. Despite overnight rains and last week’s frigid temperatures, Wednesday warmth climbed into the 70s.
