The snow finally stopped and Charlotte has reopened, so finish your milk sandwiches and get out of the house. Here are my top party picks to help you plan that outing for this 60-degree weekend.

Friday

Brody & Choch album Release Party at Visulite Theatre (1615 Elizabeth Ave.): The Charlotte-based hip-hop duo reminiscent of Kid ’n Play will release and perform its new album, “Partners in Rhyme.” $8 advance; $12 day-of. 704-358-9200.

Five Year Anniversary Party at StrikeCity (210 E. Trade St.): To celebrate five years at the EpiCentre, StrikeCity is doing what it does best – throwing a party, with live DJs, guest bartenders and giveaways. 9 p.m. (kids bowl free all day until 6 p.m.). No cover. 704-716-9300.

Girls’ Night Out: Pop Art at Charlotte Fine Art Gallery (7510 Pineville-Matthews Road): Create pop art a la Andy Warhol on a relaxing night out with the girls. 7-8:30 p.m. $40 (all supplies included). 704-541-0741.

Saturday

Natural Margarita Day at On the Border (10710 Providence Road, 8001 Concord Mills Blvd., 8315 Northlake Commons Blvd., and 2409 E. Tattermasquerade at Tremont Music Hall (400 W. Tremont Ave.): Celebrate Mardi Gras in Charlotte with prizes for the best masks and costumes, while enjoying the sounds of Charlotte rock band Tattermask. 7:30 p.m. $8. 704-343-9494.

Seventh Annual Humane Society SPAYghetti Dinner at the Speedway Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway (5555 Concord Parkway, Concord): A spaghetti dinner benefiting the spay and neuter efforts of the Humane Society of Concord.
