    Traffic is backed up following a single car crash on southbound 77 Near Clanton Rd. Saturday night. One person was taken to CMC with life-threatening injuries.

A one-car accident has snarled traffic on Interstate 77 Saturday night in southwest Charlotte and sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.

A car overturned in a southbound lane of I-77 near Clanton Road at about 7:30 p.m. Medic said one person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
