Matchup to Watch
LeBron James vs. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: So on consecutive nights MKG gets to (has to?) guard arguably the games best players. He calls himself the Bobcats middle-linebacker. More power to him.
• The Bobcats have lost 15 in a row to the Heat, including three this season, but the games have been dramatically more competitive of late. The Bobcats led late in Miami before losing by one, then took the Heat to overtime in Charlotte.
• Bobcats coach Steve Clifford is reluctant to send constant double-teams at James because he feels thats when James is the most dangerous feeding teammates who have been left wide open.
• Dwyane Wades health has been a wild card all season for the Heat.
• The Heat has sold out its past 141 home games.
Did you know?
The Heat just squashes the competition within the Southeast Division. Miami is 104-50 against Charlotte, Orlando, Washington and Atlanta since the Bobcats came into the league in 2005.
