A few notes from my Deal Diva notebook:
Publix: A few weeks ago, I wrote about Publix’s coupon policy. Here are a few clarifications and additions:
• Publix doesn’t allow shoppers to stack digital coupons from its website with manufacturers’ coupons.
• Publix does let shoppers stack Publix paper coupons with manufacturers’ paper coupons on one item.
• “Penny Items” have not appeared in the Fort Mill or Indian Land locations.
SouthernSavers: It’s always a score to find an item at its cheapest. A new feature on SouthernSavers.com can search for where an item is on sale and identifies coupons from the Sunday inserts and online sources.
Identify theft protection: In light of Target’s recent security breach, many shoppers are concerned about keeping their information safe. With the free app LifeLock Wallet, users load their loyalty cards and credit cards and the app keeps track of all transactions, provides up-to-date balance information and categorizes spending. If your phone gets lost, call LifeLock, and they will cancel all of your credit cards for you.
