Gaston County police say they are looking for a woman who might have been involved in a larceny from a business last month.

The same woman is being sought by authorities in two other counties in similar cases, investigators say.

The alleged larceny took place Feb. 21 at Industrial Electronics Company, on Georgia Belle Avenue in Belmont. Among the items taken were a number of company checks, according to police.

Gaston County police said the same woman allegedly used fake identification to cash checks from the company in Lincoln County and in York, S.C. Investigators said the woman was seen driving a silver Chevrolet Impala or Malibu and a blue Ford Explorer.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact police at 704-866-3320 or Crime Stoppers at 704-861-8000.
