Get ready for baseball in uptown Charlotte.
Single-game tickets for the Charlotte Knights’ first season at the downtown BB&T Ballpark go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the stadium box office.
The Knights are encouraging fans interested in tickets to the April 11 season opener to come to the BB&T Ballpark ticket office on Saturday, because telephone and online ticket sales won’t begin until noon. There is a limit of four tickets per fan for opening day, which is April 11 against Norfolk.
Tickets to any of the 72 home games, to the USA Baseball game against Chinese Taipei on July 3, and to the Triple-A National Championship on Sept. 16 will be available.
At noon on Saturday, tickets will also be available by calling 704-357-8071, or at www.charlotteknights.com.
Single-game seats start at $10, although standing-room-only seats will be sold for $8 once all reserved seating has been sold. Field box seats are $18 each.
The Knights’ team store at the stadium is also open, as of noon Friday, at the corner of South Mint and Martin Luther King.
