Providence High’s German language program won the Champion’s Trophy for the best overall language program in North Carolina – its fourth straight German Day title.

For the fourth straight year, Providence High’s German language program won the Champion’s Trophy for the best overall language program in North Carolina at the German Day statewide competition.

Thirty-five Providence students earned competition berths. First-place winners: Skit Team – Brandon Green, Jenna Humphrey, Allanah Hund, Keenan Murphy, Madison Perlmutter, Rifka Roth; Level 1-2 Quiz Bowl Team – Jared Ashley, Whitaker Knox, Ryan McMillan; Extemporaneous Speaking – Jacob Greenblatt; Poetry Recitation – Katja Butte; Photography – Jenny Hausler.
