DMV extends contract with Anson plate agency

WADESBORO The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles says it has renewed the contract with Anson County to operate the license plate agency in Wadesboro.

The previous contract was set to expire this summer. The new deal will last for three years, with options for two one-year extensions.

The agency is at 101 South Green Street, in the county tax building. The agency will maintain its current hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. The DMV said its policy is to open applications to operate license plate agencies when contracts expire.
