Lenoir police say complaints from the community and several months of investigative work led to the arrests of three people this week on drug charges.
The arrests came after Lenoir police and the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team conducted a search of a home in the 300 block of Hillside Drive in Lenoir.
Investigators said they found crack cocaine, Hydrocodone and marijuana, along with cash.
Police said they charged Kim Antwon Walton, 46, and Gerard Caldwell, 37, with three felonies each: possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute cocaine; maintaining a dwelling to keep or store a controlled substance; and manufacturing cocaine.
According to police, a third person in the house, Melissa Watson, 26, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Burke County. She was wanted for failure to appear on a drug paraphernalia possession charge.
