Man charged in Lake Wylie, River Hills break-ins

By Steve Lyttle

A 20-year-old Clover man has been charged in connection with a series of residential break-ins across the Lake Wylie and River Hills communities, authorities say.

Thomas Grant Bridges was arrested late last week on 11 charges, including grand larceny, second-degree burglary and petit larceny.

Authorities said Bridges is suspected of breaking into at least six homes since December. He is accused of stealing items worth about $95,000.

Bridges was jailed under $30,940 bond, and the York County sheriff’s office said additional charges are possible. Steve Lyttle
