The kitchen at Myers Park Country Club caught fire Monday afternoon, causing significant damage.

No one was immediately reported to be injured in the fire, which happened inside a building on the property, according to Charlotte Fire Department spokesman Capt. Mark Basnight.

Video from the scene showed flames and smoke pouring out of one of the country club’s main buildings. It was unclear whether the fire had spread to other parts of the building.

Fire investigators didn’t immediately know what started the fire.
