STATESVILLE Iredell County investigators say they are looking for several people who allegedly passed counterfeit checks last month.

The checks were passed around March 19 at the Market Basket on Taylorsville Highway in Statesville, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said there are three suspects, two of whom were wearing Bojangle’s uniforms. The third suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Investigators said four bad checks were passed – two supposedly from Bojangle’s and two supposedly from Domino’s Pizza.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers, 704-662-1340.
