Discussing everything from how to finance your startup to the importance of remaining resilient, founders of three small businesses shared their tips for success with Charlotte-area entrepreneurs at a ShopTalk social event on Monday.
Participants listened to advice from owners Amy and Danny Leon of CKO Kickboxing, Glenn Burkins from the QcityMetro.com news website and Todd and Suzie Ford of NoDa Brewing Co., where the networking event was held.
“Failure is not an option,” Suzie Ford told the room of 120 attendees who run their own businesses or are looking to start one.
“We might have challenges, we might have frustrations, but we just turn it around. … We knew we were going to do whatever it took to be successful.”
Attendees used social time to make contact with fellow businesses.
