1 killed in east Charlotte crash

One person was killed in a vehicle crash in east Charlotte.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police haven’t released details about the crash on Albemarle Road between Dooley Drive and Faulconbridge Road.

That section of Albemarle Road was closed late Thursday as investigators tried to determine what happened.

Police haven’t released the name of the victim because the person’s family had not been notified.
