Police: Charlotte man shot in foot

Charlotte-Mecklenubrg Police are trying to determine who shot a man in the foot Sunday afternoon in northwest Charlotte.

Capt. Todd Lontz said that about 1:30 p.m., the man was shot in the 1800 block of Griers Grove Road near Fred Alexander Park off Beatties Ford Road.

Lontz said police are continuing to investigate the case to determine what happened. But he added that the injury was not life-threatening. Elisabeth Arriero
