ROCK HILL Two Rock Hill teenagers allegedly swapped nude pictures with each other, resulting in police filing charges against the boyfriend, authorities said.

The girl’s father called police on Sunday after a neighbor told him that his daughter, 15, sneaked out of the house after tying together a string of bed sheets and climbing out of her bedroom window, according to a Rock Hill police report. Her parents had been disciplining her after they learned she possibly had nude pictures of her boyfriend, also 15, on her phone. The father gave police the phone, where they found three nude pictures of the boy exposing himself.

Officers found the girl at the boy’s house, where they interviewed him and his mother. The boy initially denied sending nude pictures, but later confessed, police reported.

The boy was taken into custody and charged with unlawful communication.

Police also took the girl into custody after deeming her a flight risk because she had allegedly run away in the recent past. Police learned the girl also allegedly sent lewd photographs to the boy, but the pictures did not include a face.

The girl was not arrested, but police indicated they would take further action if nude pictures of the girl that include her face surfaced.

Both teens were released to their parents.
