CAMDEN, S.C. Camden Police say a woman was arrested after she returned to a Chick-fil-a to retrieve the loaded gun she left in the bathroom.
Robin Lei Albert, 45, of Camden was charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol.
Police were called to the Chick-fil-a at 2211 W. Dekalb Street in Camden last week when a man reported that his daughter and several of her friends found a pistol on top of a toilet paper dispenser in the womens restroom.
The gun was a .45 caliber Glock 30, according to the incident report.
The man gave the gun to the restaurant manager who then placed the weapon in the safe and called police, according to the incident report.
The gun was fully loaded, Camden Police Chief Joe Floyd said.
Police retrieved the weapon and later placed it into evidence.
She (Albert) forgot she left the gun in the bathroom and left the restaurant, Chief Floyd said. When she remembered it, she returned to the restaurant and asked for it.
Chief Floyd said police were notified when Albert returned to the restaurant.
