CPCC spring plant sale Friday, Saturday

The annual spring plant sale at CPCC’s Cato campus in northeast Charlotte takes place Friday and Saturday.

A variety of vegetables, herbs, annuals and perennials will be on sale, with proceeds benefiting the school’s Horticulture Technology program. Sale hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.

The event is open to the public, with personal checks and cash accepted for payment. The Cato campus horticulture building is at 8120 Grier Road.

Items for sale will include eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, chives, dill, basil, parsley, zinnias, marigolds, wild indogo, snapdragons, and dwarf yello cannas.
