Lindsey Regan Thorne of Be Pretty is known for her fresh, feminine on set. But now this bridal beauty expert has opened her studio doors, too, with flirty décor andof courseplenty of pink. Just in time for spring wedding season, Lindsey walked us through the sweet look she created for bride Morgan Gibson. CWStep 1: All About the Eyes
TIP: You start with your eyes to prevent eye shadow and foundation from having a bad interaction. Applying eye makeup first eliminates eye shadow from sticking to the facial foundation. By doing this step first, your facial complexion will be seamless and radiant.
1. Apply eye primer to entire lid (MAC Paint Pot in Painterly).2. Apply eye shadow below the brow bone to highlight your arch (MAC Eye Shadow in Crystal Avalanche).3. Apply overall eye shadow over the remaining eye lid and on the inner lower lash line (MAC Eye Shadow in Jest).4. Apply eye shadow in the crease and outer v crease (MAC Eye Shadow in Embark).5. Apply another layer of eye shadow in the crease and outer v crease (MAC Eye Shadow in Sketch).6. Apply a thin layer of eye shadow in the v crease and the lower lash line to add a little hint of drama (MAC Eye Shadow in Beauty Marked).7. Apply liquid eyeliner with a thin slanted brush along the entire lash line and the waterline (MAC Fluidline in Black Track).8. Apply false eyelashes.9. Apply waterproof mascara.Step 2: Fresh Faced
TIP: For your under eye concealer, choose one two shades lighter than for the face. Once the concealer is blended, go in with a deeper shade and that same concealer and begin to lightly contour the face.
1. Apply foundation first, covering your entire face and neck with foundation brush (MAC Studio Sculpt).2. Apply liquid based concealer under eyes (MAC Select Cover Up).3. Set the foundation by applying powder with a powder brush (MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus). 4. Apply blush (MAC Blush in Dollymix).5. Apply setting spray to set the makeup (Urban Decay All Nighter).6. Apply lipstick (MAC Lipstick in Plumful).
