What to Watch on Monday: HBO documentary on Texas governor tells ‘All About Ann’

All About Ann: Governor Richards of the Lone Star State (9pm, HBO) - A compelling documentary about the feisty, fiery and funny force of nature who rose to power in the conservative state of Texas, despite her unapologetically liberal politics. The documentary traces her story, from growing up poor in rural Texas to becoming a national Democratic leader, through interviews with close friends, family members and admirers. Those offering thoughts include Bill Clinton, Dan Rather and Liz Smith.

The Following (9pm, Fox) - In the second season finale, Ryan and Joe are forced to work together, despite their hatred for each other, in order to save the woman they both love.

The Blacklist (10pm, NBC) - A politician in Prague is framed for murder, triggering the team’s effort to take down the Kingmaker, a shifty strategist who’s behind the rise of powerful politicians. Meanwhile, Liz unearths a secret Red has been hiding.

Castle (10pm, ABC) - A promising professional skateboarder is killed by a motorcyclist, so Castle and Beckett dive into the world of extreme sports to investigate the murder.
