Mooresville charged in break-ins

A Mooresville man has been charged in connection with several break-ins in the area after authorities investigated incidents at golf courses, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Elliott Kyle Smith, 45, of Shearers Road was charged with six counts of felony breaking and entering, authorities said.

The Sheriff’s Office had been investigating incidents at the Mallard Head Country Club and Twin Oaks Golf Course. Elisabeth Arriero
