Charlotte conference offers help to family caregivers

Family caregivers can get resources and assistance at a free public forum from 1 to 4 p.m. May 5 at Tyvola Senior Center, 2225 Tyvola Road, Charlotte.

Sponsored by AARP, the conference will feature author and caregiving expert Lisa Gwyther of Duke University’s Family Support Program. Participants are asked to register at 1-877-926-8300.

Free copies of the AARP’s 2014 North Carolina Family Caregiving Guide will be distributed. Karen Garloch
