Interactive map: Voter turnout in Mecklenburg County

By Gavin Off
The Charlotte Observer

Nine percent of Mecklenburg County voters went to the polls Tuesday. Precinct turnout ranged from less than one percent to more than 23 percent. Precincts with the highest turnout rates were concentrate in south Charlotte.

The Observer used the number of votes cast in the U.S. Senate race to determine precinct turnout to avoid double-counting those who also voted in other local and state races.
