The traffic trouble spots at 10 a.m. Thursday continue to be northbound Interstate 77 in south Charlotte and southbound I-85 in north Charlotte.
Both highways were slowed by wrecks earlier Thursday morning. The wrecks have been cleared, but slowdowns continue. And a new collision has been reported on northbound I-77 at Arrowood Road.
The original wreck on I-77 was at Clanton Road.
And the I-85 wreck was near the Graham Street interchange.
Here is the 10 a.m. update:
I-85 southbound, Mecklenburg County ... Congestion due to earlier collision near Graham Street (Exit 40); backups stretch about 2 miles.
University City Boulevard at Ikea Boulevard ... Earlier collision with injuries; minor delays.
North Tryon Street at University Pointe Boulevard ... Collision with injuries; moderate delays.
The Plaza near Eastway Drive ... Collision; minor delays.
I-485 inner loop, south Mecklenburg ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from Providence Road to I-77.
Ardrey Kell Road at Bridgehampton Club Drive ... Road closed due to a wreck involving a fire truck.
I-77 northbound, south Charlotte ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from Carowinds Boulevard up to Clanton Road.
Tyvola Road at Westpark Drive ... Collision; minor delays.
LaSalle Street at Madrid Street ... Collision; minor delays.
