Online survey on the state’s outdoor recreation needs now open

The N.C. Division of Parks and Recreation is asking for statewide resident feedback on outdoor recreation needs and preferences.

The online survey, which officials said takes 10 minutes or less, will help the state plan for improvements over the next five years.

Residents – whether active in outdoor recreation activities or not – are asked to take the survey before May 31. Results will help federal, state and local agencies provide more opportunities, as well as protect and restore natural resources. Details and to take the survey: www.ncparks.gov.
