What to Watch on Saturday: NC grillers compete to make the best barbecue

BBQ Pitmasters (9pm, Destination America) - Three North Carolina grillers compete to see who can cook the best NC-style barbecue. The episode features Wendell’s Christopher Prieto from Prime BBQ; Fremont’s Carl “the Cook” Lewis from Big Show Foods; and Monroe’s Jonathan Upchurch from Rocky Top BBQ. The judges are Tuffy Stone, Nelson Colwell and Moe Cason. The winners move on to the semifinals (other episodes feature grillers from Georgia, Texas, Memphis and Kansas City) for a shot at a $50,000 grand prize and the title of BBQ Pitmasters Grand Champion.

Mom’s Day Away (8pm, Hallmark) - A wife and mom feels unappreciated, so she goes on a Mother’s Day vacation with her unmarried, successful pal and learns the values of celebrating life’s joys with her family.

The Good Sister (8pm, Lifetime) - This Lifetime movie is about a husband working to save his troubled marriage, but finding his life in jeopardy when he falls into an affair with his wife’s long-lost (and sexier) twin sister.

Dateline: Saturday Night Mystery (8pm, NBC) - Josh Mankiewicz puts the focus on the mysteries surrounding the West Mesa Murders, an unsolved case of 11 female bodies discovered in a desert graveyard near Albuquerque in 2009.

Orphan Black (9pm, BBC America) - Sarah comes home to search for answers and with Cosima’s help, she digs into the origins of the clone experiment. The hunt takes her into perilous territory that could cost her more than she realizes.

The Seven Dwarfs of Auschwitz (9pm, Smithsonian) - The story of the Ovitz family, a troupe of Jewish dwarf performers during World War II that manage to survive Auschwitz and the cruel experiments of Josef Mengele.

Saturday Night Live (11:30, NBC) - Charlize Theron hosts, with musical guest the Black Keys.
