Lincoln County woman charged in theft from Cross Creek Cowboy Church

Sylvia Juanita Minteer, 43, of Vale, was arrested last weekend and charged in the theft of five saddles from a church in western Lincoln County, authorities said.

A Vale woman has been accused of stealing five saddles in January from the Cross Creek Cowboy Church, authorities said.

Sylvia Juanita Minteer, 43, was was charged with breaking and entering a place of worship, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen goods, deputies said. She was jailed on $10,000 bond. The church holds both worship services and rodeo events at a ranch in Lincoln County. Steve Lyttle
