What to Watch on Wednesday: A final goodbye to ‘Suburgatory’

Suburgatory (8:30 p.m., ABC) - In what has turned out to be the series finale of this fantastic little sitcom ( darn you, ABC!), Tessa joins a knitting circle, but George is startled by how old her new friends are. Elsewhere, George writes a song in the aftermath of his one-night stand with Dallas, and newlyweds Lisa and Malik aren’t exactly a happy couple. Great, we’re gonna end this thing on a downer…

Also on tonight . . .

Nature: Leave it to Beavers (8pm, UNC-TV) - A special on how beavers may be able to help reverse global warming and alleviate worldwide water shortages. Go, beavers!!!

Criminal Minds (9pm, CBS) - Season 9 ends with the BAU continuing to investigate the murders of prostitutes in Texas and uncovering a deep web of corruption that could be the motive behind the killings.

Nashville (10pm, ABC) - In the Season 2 finale, Teddy helps Rayna plan a free concert to spotlight her Highway 65 debut. Meanwhile, Deacon’s pals perform at a benefit concert for his favorite charity and Juliette goes missing when Avery prepares to serenade her.

Kodiak (10pm, Discovery) - In the opener of this new series following the daily lives of families who live on Kodiak Island in Alaska, bears swarm a whale carcass. As bears do.

The Americans (10pm, FX) - In the season’s penultimate episode, Philip prepares Fred for a crucial mission, while Stan is forced to make an impossible choice.
