Too often you have to settle for a desk that looks good but doesn’t accommodate the electronic devices that have crept into our lives. The SlatePro Personal TechDesk is different. It was designed to keep your workstation organized.

Too often you have to settle for a desk that looks good but doesn’t accommodate the electronic devices that have crept into our lives. The SlatePro Personal TechDesk is different. It was designed to keep your workstation organized.

The desktop measures nearly 48 inches wide by 23 inches deep. It has air vents for keeping a laptop cool, a mouse pad that is flush with the surface, and docking stations for a smart phone and tablet. It’s also got a recessed cup holder for your coffee mug.

The desk, created through a kickstarter campaign, is made of eco-friendly bamboo with clear acrylic on top. The legs are steel. $498 at http://kck.st/1f36EOP.

Note: The winners of last week’s nail giveaway were Dawn Detgen of Salisbury and Terri Jarina, of Waxhaw.
