Police locate vehicle from Concord hit and run

Concord police have located and impounded the vehicle they say was involved in a hit-and-run earlier this month that resulted in serious injury.

On May 4, Silvio Cadolino, 61, was driving south on U.S. 29 around 4:15 p.m. when his Chevrolet Corvette was hit by a vehicle turning onto Carpenter Court from the northbound lane, police said.

The contact caused Cadolino’s vehicle to overturn, resulting in serious injury, according to police.

On Friday, police announced that they had located the vehicle, a 2004 Ford Freestar. No charges have been filed at this time, police said, but the investigation is ongoing.
